Chef Gianluca Danese
Master Chef Gianluca Danese prepares dishes with an emphasis on authentic regional cooking from Tuscany and is meticulous about the fine details that go into making Tuscan cuisine loved and admired around the world. While staying true to his rich heritage, Gianluca often works with various regional specialties such as truffles, pecorino cheese, artichokes, cannellini beans, sage, rosemary, and olive oil.
Since 1979, Gianluca has shared his talents with numerous restaurants throughout Italy, some of which have been assigned the prestigious Michelin Star. His work as Executive Chef at the infamous Dal Bolognese in Rome allowed him to share his love for regional cuisine with Italian celebrities, dignitaries and politicians.
Chef Danese has been a longtime member of the Tuscany Regional Chef's Association and the Federation of Italian Chefs, in addition to the American Culinary Federation. A master at creating new dishes while maintaining traditional Italian flavors, he has traveled the world representing Italy in various culinary events. Adding to his success, Gianluca was appointed Chef Ambassador for Bertolli in 2004.
