Chef Alessandro Negrini was born in 1978 in Caspoggio, Valmalenco, Italy. He attended Sondrio culinary school. While he worked at Hotel Palace in Saint Moritz, his true passion for Italian gastronomy grew. Chef Negrini has also worked in the Gallia Palace in Punta Ala, the Domaine de Châteauvieux in Genève, and at Restaurant Dal Pescatore in Canneto sull'Oglio. After moving to Milan, he became a co-owner of Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia with business partners Fabio Pisani and Stefania Moroni.
Chef Negrini brings a passion to his career that allows customers to feel the "heartbeats" in every single dish. At Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia, he interprets the rich culture of Italian gastronomy, proposing it again in an innovative form. His cuisine is contemporary and respects original Italian flavors, building on the solid basis of local raw materials. His recipes bring out the specificity and goodness of the ingredients in a unique and complex way. It is no wonder why he has garnered numerous awards such as 2 Michelin Stars (2018), 3 Hats (L'Espresso 2018), 2 Forks (Gambero Rosso 2018) to name a few.
